Today Tri-Chix braved the Maine elements and their own trepidation for their first group open water swim! It was windy, rainy and gray! Air temp about 61 degrees, water temp about 64 degrees!
Wow, it was FUN! We jumped right in, we did a mass start, we rounded the buoy and it was GREAT!........Ok, well, how about, "It was scary, I hyperventillated, I got motion sickness, I couldn't breathe, I did the breast stroke, I swam on my back....BUT I did it!"
